Within the next month we will bring up a second county in Delaware (Kent), at which time our software will be processing over two thirds of all marriages in the state.

:: 03/30/2001 :: ITQ Press Release

Genesis Systems, Inc. has received official notification from the Office of Administration, Pennsylvania Governor's Office that it has become qualified to provide IT services under the statewide ITQ Computer Programming and Systems Analysis Support Services Reissue Contract.

Under the ITQ process, vendors become pre-qualified to provide IT services, and agencies can then choose from this list of pre-approved IT service providers to meet their procurement and business needs. The contract terms for these engagements are normally for a period of two or three years with two one-year optional extensions.

Pennsylvania was one of the first states in the country to implement the ITQ process. The ITQ process provides statewide Information Technology (IT) services contracts that allow all Commonwealth agencies a fast and efficient means to secure IT services with one or more pre-qualified vendors. Commonwealth agencies can acquire their required IT services based on an added-value solution rather than lowest cost by using the existing ITQ contracts.
